Some purposes of the Lord’s Supper:

1) The Lord’s Supper facilitates community and unity. It brings the body of Christ together.

2) The Lord’s Supper recognizes and addresses our sin nature as individuals and how that impacts us both individually and as a community.

3) The Lord’s Supper is an opportunity for worship.
