East Africa Mission Trip

August 16-23, 2026

The GALE family accepted the call to GO in 2013.  We as their home church were so glad to support them in any way we could as they prepared to serve in this way.  We support their work by providing funding for student scholarships, leadership training, and sports ministry.  We also send a team to serve with them.

A team of six will travel to East Africa to serve alongside the GALE team, missionaries sent through the International Mission Board. The team will engage in community-based projects designed to open doors for sharing the love of Christ.  The primary activity will be to host a Basketball Camp where students learn skills for the game and for life based on Biblical concepts.  Training will be provided prior to the trip to help prepare participants for cross-cultural ministry.

 

Cost: $1,800 per participant

Participants: Ages 18 and older

Physical Requirements: Ability to work in hot, humid conditions

Requirements: Valid passport, visa and background check
