Hermitage Hills connects with community schools to build consistent engagement and provide support to the students, families, and staff.  This mission area is mainly off campus and at a partner school on various days and times.  Because of our partnerships, we are often given the opportunity to connect further by providing invite cards to our services and upcoming events.

• Pray for the staff, families and students
• Staff Appreciation Week, May 4-8 - volunteers will meet at the church in the cafe to provide a meal for the staff - date to be determined

 

Hermitage Elementary

 

• Pray for the staff, students and families
• Testing Proctor, April 30-May 1, 8:15-10:15am - volunteers will meet at the school at 8:00am so they can be assigned to a classroom as a proctor - responsibility is to be a second person in the room to monitor testing and hand out materials - the teacher with you will present testing instructions
• Staff Appreciation Week, May 8 - volunteers will meet at the school and host breakfast for the staff - volunteers will meet at the school at 7:15am to set up so that we are ready for staff at 7:30am

 

DuPont Tyler Middle School

 

• Pray for the staff, students and families
• Staff Appreciation Week, May 6, 10:00am-12:30pm - volunteers will meet at the school and host a lunch for the staff as we celebrate a great year

 

McGavock High School

 

• Pray for the staff, students and families
• FCA Coaches Lunch - 10:00am-12:30pm - volunteers will host a lunch for the coaches at McGavock and help equip them by providing a printed devotion - date: April 23
• Taste of McGavock, April 9, 6:00-8:00pm - volunteers will meet at the school and host a table for Hermitage Hills.  We will pass out a gift with information about our summer activities and and invite to church.
• Staff Appreciation Week, May 8, 10:00am-12:30pm - volunteers will meet at the school and host a lunch for the staff as we celebrate the investment made in the high schoolers this year.
