November is NOT the only month that Hermitage Hills is involved in missions. Our vision and mission is lived out through a missional mindset. It is important to us to tell the story of what God has accomplished through missions during the year. So, important that we take an entire month to give updates and celebrate the work God has done. We also give information about ways to step into missions in the upcoming year, which brings us to the next point.
Month of Missions is about PRAYING. It is a time for each individual to pray for God to show them how to step into missions. Month of Missions is not general, it is PERSONAL. We have many ways to step in and each step is abundant in opportunity. God has a unique way for each of us to be on mission. Whether you serve from home or in person, God has a place for you to step in and be part of what He is doing to reach a Great Multitude.
Reaching a Great Multitude requires intentional connections with those in our area of influence. This week, we will focus on our city and nation. CLICK to see how God helped Hermitage Hills Impact our City and Fortify our Nation over the past year and for ways to step in to these areas in the new year. Whether you serve from home or in person, God has a place for you.
Ways you can Participate TODAY:
Pray for God to show you how He wants you to step into missions in the upcoming year. Use a copy of the Commitment Card (located in the downloads) as a tool to begin praying for the areas He needs you to engage whether serving from home or in person.
November begins a new year for the Hope Wall. The Hope Wall focuses on two communities - one in Las Conchas, Guatemala and the other in Busia, Kenya. We use the funds from the Hope Wall to provide food for our partner schools. This allows our partners to minister to their communities and feed 637 children each day they attend school for the year. Our Hope Wall is open for renewals and new supporters.

Ways you can participate this WEEK:
WEDNESDAYS DURING MONTH OF MISSIONS
This Wednesday, November 11th, our mission's at home activity is a Brownie Baking Giveaway. You will need two boxes of brownie mix (provided in the activity bag on Sunday or in the church office) and the necessary ingredients. On Wednesday, participate in the activity HERE. You will learn more about how missions has impacted our city and nation.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
OCC is a ministry of Samaritan's Purse and collects shoebox gifts for children around the world as an expression of God’s love. The gift is not the items in the box, but instead the Gospel that is told to each child that receives a box. You can pack a physical box or pack a virtual box. Our goal is 500 boxes. The deadline is November 15th for physical boxes and November 28th for virtual boxes.
RADICAL HEART FOOD DRIVE
The Food Drive continues through Friday, November 13th. See the downloads for information on food items needed to complete our Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday boxes. We are asking children and preschoolers to help us too. In the downloads, there are coloring sheets. You can return finished coloring sheets to the office by mailing it to 3475 Lebanon Pike, Hermitage, TN 37076, take a picture and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org or by bringing it to Ms. Michelle or Ms. Britney on Sundays. These coloring sheets will go in each holiday box given so that we can impact our city with the love of Christ. Our first boxes are given out on November 11th. We can't wait to see the amazing job you will do!
