This month, we have several ways to participate in missions from home or in person.

Month of Missions begins November 1st.  We are asking that you join us in prayer as we pray for the many mission's opportunities at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church.

We have many ways for you to participate in Month of Missions.  Click HERE to see a list of Month of Missions activities as well as the daily prayer guide.

ESL (English as a Second Language)

We will have three classes on Wednesday nights from 6:00 to 7:30 pm for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.  If you know of someone that could benefit from taking classes, please encourage them to come.  If you would like to serve, contact Brigitte at bsimpson@hermitagehills.com.

We are still serving our community through Radical Heart each week on Wednesday nights from 6:00 - 7:30 pm and Thursday mornings from 10:00 - 11:30 pm.  We can use your help.

We are serving as many as 50 families per week and need volunteers to help us host them well.  You can help prepare food boxes in the pantry, load boxes into guests' cars, and pray with guests.  We are following health guidelines for the safety of our volunteers and guests.  If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Lori at lresmer@hermitagehills.com.

We are accepting clothing donations.  You can bring donations to the church office Monday through Friday between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm and leave in the entry for pick up by Radical Heart volunteers.  For donation guidelines, click HERE.

Room in the Inn provides a place for people to stay the night during the months of November through March. Hermitage Hills hosts men on Wednesday nights. We provide a hot dinner, cots with bedding for sleep, breakfast, and transportation to and from the Room in the Inn facility downtown. Most importantly though we provide fellowship and conversation that points to Christ. You can serve in many ways through providing meal items, hosting the meal, driving the van, staying the night as an innkeeper, and helping to launder linens.  If you would like to be part of this ministry, contact Brigitte at bsimpson@hermitagehills.com.

Join us as we meet on Wednesday, November 10, from 10:00 am to noon in the Gathering Place (you will enter at door 1).  We will learn more about missions close to home and around the world.  We will also participate in a hands-on activity as we prepare Advent Boxes for the Preschool/Children/Radical Heart ministries.  All women are welcome!

This year, Hermitage Hills Baptist Church is a drop off site for area individuals, families, churches, and organizations to bring their filled Operation Christmas Child boxes.  Each box collected is an expression of God's love for the child and an opportunity for the Gospel to be shared.  We anticipate collecting 2,000 boxes.  We need volunteers to host so that we can provide a welcoming, active, encouraging, and efficient experience for those dropping off.

National Collection Week is November 15-22.  We have opportunities to serve each day (times vary).  Click HERE to see where you can step into this mission opportunity.

Missions is not just a day, week, or month.  It is a year long commitment to being on mission locally and globally.  You can stay connected through the mission's newsletter.  View the November newsletter HERE.
