MISSIONS AT HERMITAGE HILLS

MISSION TRIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR 2027 - November 8th

Join us as we highlight all the mission trip opportunities in 2027.  There will be information set up in the Connection Lobby outside of the Worship Center, off the balcony by the Garage, and in the Treehouse Lobby.  We encourage you to come by before or after the service to see where you can GO through Missions at Hermitage Hills in 2027.

On September 20, we highlighted four of our local outreach opportunities.  You can still sign up to volunteer by clicking HERE.

Radical Heart

We are open on Wednesday nights 6:00-7:30pm and Thursday mornings 10:00-11:30am to provide food or clothing for the community. Volunteers can serve during scheduled hours, Wednesday mornings to unload the truck or by picking up donations from partners on various days.

English Classes

We offer three classes - Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced - for the community on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:30pm. You can join us by being a lead teacher, a classroom helper, greeter or snack time host.

Room in the Inn

We serve 12 men at Hermitage Hills each week on Wednesday nights, November 4, 2026 - March 31, 2027. You can join us by driving the van, helping set up, hosting the meal, providing the meal, and/or staying the night (men only).

Operation Christmas Child

Join us as we collect filled OCC boxes from the community. We are open November 16-23, 2026 (times vary). We need men and women willing to greet the community, unload cars, carton the shoeboxes, and load the cartons onto trucks.

Use the form below to sign up TODAY!

*Kidlink/Children’s activities are provided on Wednesday nights for Radical Heart, English Classes, and Room in the Inn.

NEXT STEPS

DECIDE WHERE GOD WANTS YOU TO STEP INTO MISSIONS

As you consider where God is calling you to step in during the 2026-27 year, here are some practical ways to get started:

Individuals & Families:

Pray regularly for local outreach, mission partners, volunteers, and those who will experience the love of Christ through these efforts. Sign up for the Mission's Newsletter by clicking HERE to know exactly how to pray.

Donate items for use in missions. You can give food and clothing to Radical Heart (collection bins are in the Welcome Lobby and by the elevator at Door 14). You can donate curriculum and Bibles to Love Packages (drop-off baskets are by the downstairs restrooms or in the library). You can also pack an Operation Christmas Child shoebox during National Collection Week in November (boxes are available in the library).

Participate in a local outreach opportunity. Whether you volunteer once a year, once a month, or once a week, there’s a place for you. Get more information by filling out the form below.

Go on a mission trip. From one-day trips to week-long and international opportunities, we have trips for every schedule and comfort level. Get more information by filling out the form below.

Lifegroups:

Share upcoming opportunities at your weekly gathering. Use the Mission's Newsletter, e-newsletter, and events page to stay updated.

Serve together as a group. Try one of our summer mission project nights (and grab ice cream after), provide and host a meal for Room in the Inn, adopt a Community School event, or take part in Love Our City.

Pray for volunteers and teams as they serve locally and globally. Encourage your group to pray for God’s glory to be made known as the Gospel is shared and disciples are formed.
