Community Mission Opportunities - $31,325
These funds provide support for community organizations such as the Pregnancy Care Center, the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home, and the Tennessee Baptist Adult Home. It also provides funding for operational costs as well as training for volunteers, partnering with a home for those rescued from human trafficking, the ability to step in when new opportunities arise, Mission's Emphasis during September, Blood Drives, Women on Mission, Summer Mission Projects with Women of Worth, Isaiah House, and Next Door Recovery, and the monthly mission's newsletter mailout.
School Partnerships - $19,200
These funds support the ministry we provide to our school partners: Hermitage Elementary, DuPont Tyler Middle School, McGavock High, and Grow U. We provide encouragement to staff, support to help students thrive, and engagement for families at each of these schools. It also helps support our partners with Everyone's Wilson and United 4 Hope as they help us coordinate with our schools and serve well.
Volunteer Training and Hospitality - $4,500
These funds support training in evangelism and specific mission areas as well as volunteer appreciation.
Nashville Baptist Association (Local Church support) - $1,500
Today, churches in and around the city of Nashville are still challenged by evangelism, missions, and special needs of this growing area in Middle Tennessee. The ethnic population of Nashville has grown to include 70 different people groups, many of whom have yet to hear the gospel. We no longer have to go overseas to reach the world – the world has come to us, and the Nashville Baptist Association assists the local church in reaching our city for Christ (nashvillebaptistassociation.org).
Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions - $4,500
The Golden Offering is church planting across Tennessee where there is no gospel witness. It’s churches coming together to serve their neighborhood to see people saved, baptized, and set on the road to discipleship. It’s Baptist Collegiate Ministries sharing the hope of Jesus on university campuses. The Golden Offering provides invaluable financial support for Tennessee ministries (tnbaptist.org).
Annie Armstrong Offering (North American Missions) - $8,500
The Annie Armstrong Offering empowers North American missionaries to bring the gospel to the lost. With over 269 million lost people, North America and its major cities are some of the most spiritually dark places in the world. Your giving equips every missionary to reach lost people in the United States and Canada. One Hundred percent of these funds go directly to missionary support (namb.net).
National Mission Trips - $19,070
These funds provide support for our mission trips to New Orleans, Louisiana as we partner with Bridge City Baptist Church, two trips to Decatur, Alabama as we partner with Love Packages, Bon Aqua, Tennessee as we serve with The Drove, Ashland, Kentucky as we serve through the Appalachia Send Relief Center, and Disaster Relief projects as needed.
Lottie Moon Offering (International Missions) - $24,000
Starting in 1888, the Lottie Moon Offering was established to empower the international missions efforts for Southern Baptists. Your giving to the One Fund enables missionaries like the GALE Family to be sent to make disciples and multiply churches among unreached peoples and places for the glory of God. One Hundred percent of these funds go directly to missionary support (imb.org).
GALE Support from Hermitage Hills - $23,750
These funds directly support the GALE family, missionaries from Hermitage Hills Baptist Church, as they serve on the mission field and help provide renovations for the dining hall at the school they serve.
Elevate Ethiopia - $14,500
Elevate Ethiopia is in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Their mission is to work with families through empowerment and education programs to help them become self-reliant and positive impactors in their families, communities, and country. These funds directly support the feeding program they provide for the students and families with which they work and the tutoring program where each student receives 2 hours of individual tutoring each week.
Metanoia Ukraine - $8,800
Metanoia Ukraine provides many programs to those in the city of Odesa, Ukraine. These programs include student clubs, English clubs, boundaries groups, prison ministry, individual counseling, children's camps, choose life information, post-abortion counseling, and ministry to soldiers. These funds will help support the staff in Odessa, Ukraine. (www.metanoiaukraine.org)
World Mission Trips - $24,600
These funds go toward supporting individuals from Hermitage Hills as they go on mission to Ethiopia, East Africa, and El Salvador. We want people to be involved in going where God is leading as they step into missions. So, when you commit to going on a mission trip through Hermitage Hills, the mission's budget provides funds for a portion of the trip. Many in our church family would not be able to participate in missions without your generous giving to the One Fund.
Cooperative Program - $89,910
Southern Baptist Churches work together to support missions. The Cooperative Program allows churches with large or small congregations, in rural or urban areas, just beginning or established to participate in missions locally and globally.
