Wednesdays are for serving at Hermitage Hills.  
Here are a few of the ways that you can step into missions:

ESL (English as a Second Language) – Provides classes for people wanting to learn the English language.  There are three levels of classes:  beginner, intermediate and advanced.  While teaching English, we also teach students about the love of Christ through reading scripture and conversation.  You can serve in many ways through facilitating a class, being a class helper, hosting the welcome table, hosting the snack area, and helping with administrative tasks.  Classes are offered on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.  Our classes begin Wednesday, September 1, and will run through the end of May.

Radical Heart – Provides restoration and hope to our neighbors in crisis.  We do so by providing the opportunity for guests to shop for food or clothing each Wednesday night from 6:00 – 7:30 pm and Thursday morning from 10:00 – 11:30 am.  You can serve in many ways through hosting registration, connecting with guests through prayer, volunteering in the food pantry, volunteering in the clothes closet, unloading the food truck on Wednesday mornings, providing a safe environment for children in the Kid’s Corner so parents/caregivers can shop, and maintaining the clothes closet.

Room in the Inn – Provides a place for people to stay the night during the months of November through March.  Hermitage Hills hosts men on Wednesday nights.  We provide a hot dinner, cots with bedding for sleep, breakfast, and transportation to and from the Room in the Inn facility downtown.  Most importantly though we provide fellowship and conversation that points to Christ.  You can serve in many ways through providing meal items, hosting the meal, driving the van, staying the night as an innkeeper, and washing bedding/towels.

Childcare through KidLink – We want to provide a safe, fun, and inviting place for the children of our volunteers and participants. Available hours are Wednesday nights 5:45 to 7:45 pm.  There are also hours available on Thursday mornings 9:45 to 11:45 am.  This is a paid position.  Those applying would consent to a background check.  Join us as we invest in the next generation.
