There are several ways to join in missions this summer.  Join us we serve in our community.

Radical Heart - each Wednesday night from 6:00-7:30 pm and Thursday morning from 10:00-11:30 am - the summer is the perfect time to see what God is doing at Radical Heart.  You will be paired with an existing volunteer as you learn the process.  Our volunteers love our community well as they provide food, clothing and connection for our guests.

Missions on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:30 pm, June 21st through July 26th - Beginning June 21st, we will start preparing for the fall with our school partners, Hermitage Elementary, Sprindale Elementary and McGavock High School.  We will make goody bags for staff, prepare supply boxes for the classes and make cards for the staff.  All ages are welcome to join us in the cafe' as we serve in missions together.

June 21st - put together bags for teachers and staff

June 28th - prepare lemonade treats

July 5th - pack school supplies for Hermitage Elementary and Springdale Elementary

July 12th - pack school supplies for McGavock High School

July 19th - prepare for Serve First Sunday in August as we look to connect with staff as they begin the year

July 26th - make cards for teachers and staff

Everyone's Wilson Serve Day - Saturday, July 15th - We partner with Everyone's Wilson as we serve at Springdale Elementary.  The serve day is a way for us to come together and help one school in Wilson County as they prepare for the fall.  The work is something everyone can do such as cleaning desks, cleaning up outside plant beds, etc.  The location will be determined soon so mark your calendar and plan to serve with us.

This was a great opportunity to connect with families and students.  We had a great time as we learned more about Jesus!    VBS - June 5-9 from 6:00-8:00 pm - Five days of fun, Bible study, games, crafts, snacks, and music. For children who are 4 years old thru those that just completed 5th Grade.  Monday through Thursday 6:00pm-8:00pm will be held at Springdale Elementary School and then on Friday at 6:00pm we will celebrate all the God has done with a family night at Hermitage Hills!

We had fun hanging out with each other while enjoying a snoball.  Thanks for coming!     Pelican's Snoball night - June 14th at 6:00 pm - Churchwide fellowship night at Pelican's Snoballs in Mt Juliet! Free Snoballs for everyone who comes between 6-7pm! This is the perfect opportunity to invite the ONE person you have been investing in this year.  Invite your ONE now!

We enjoyed hosting the hospitality room for the softball clinic.  This is just one way that we connect with our partner schools.     McGavock Softball Meal - June 13th - As part of our school partnerships, we connect with the staff and students in many ways.  One opportunity we have this summer is to provide a meal for 30 coaches who are attending a championship hosted by McGavock High School.  This meal is a great way to encourage the coaches as they invest in the students on their teams.

During Missions on Wednesday nights, we have put together 200 treat bags for the staff at Grow U, Hermitage Elementary, and Springdale Elementary; prepared for the Serve First Sunday activity in July; and prepared treats for Radical Heart guests and volunteers.  July is full of activities too so plan to participate.
