**Change to Radical Heart's regular services and schedule**

Modified Distribution process until further notice:  Radical Heart will operate on a modified schedule by appointment only.  All food boxes will be pre-made.  Families will be able to pick up a food box every two weeks.  We are also providing clothing assistance on a limited basis each week.  You can schedule an appointment for a food box and/or clothing assistance by texting 615-541-1040 or online at

https://signup.com/go/KfDMtea

The process for pick up is as follows for food boxes:  arrive at your scheduled time, stay in your car, complete the provided form (valid ID is required for pick up), open your trunk or back hatch (there must be enough room for our volunteers to place the food box inside), the volunteer will bring out the pre-made food box and place it in the vehicle.  Volunteers will not place food boxes inside the interior of the car so please make sure to have enough space in the trunk for the pre-made food box. If you do not have space in your trunk, for safety precautions, our volunteers will leave the box by your car and you will be responsible for placing the items inside the cab of your vehicle.

The process for clothing assistance is as follows:  arrive just prior to your scheduled time and wait outside Door 15 (Worship Center West) by the blue metal Radical Heart bin.  A Radical Heart volunteer will escort you in from there and take you to the clothes closet for shopping.  A mask is required for entry.  Only one family member will be allowed into the clothes closet.  Thank you for helping us social distance.

Clothes closet appointments are available every 2 months.  One family member may select items for the whole family during their appointment.  If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours notice.  If you do not show up for your appointment, you will not be eligible to make another appointment for 1 month since there are limited shopping times during our modified schedule.

Cancellations are requested at least 24 hours in advance.  This will allow us to schedule another family instead of having an open time.  By filling all of our time slots with families that are able to come, we are able to serve our community better.

We do allow people to make an appointment and pick up food for homebound individuals, but you must follow the process below.

You must provide a valid ID for the homebound individual, provide an ID for the person picking up, provide a note from the homebound individual approving the pick up (note must include appointment date, pick up request, signature, phone number, and name of person picking up), know the household size (how many people reside in the household), and have monthly income information (including all forms of income such as social security, disability, etc.).

Again, cancellations are requested at least 24 hours in advance.  This will allow us to schedule another family instead of having an open time.  By filling all of our time slots with families that are able to come, we are able to serve our community better.

Welcome

Radical Heart exists to bring restoration and hope to our neighbors in crisis. We will do this by being radically faithful to God and relevant to the world by embracing the Biblical mandate to care for vulnerable children and families through generosity and love.

Last year, we served 1,096 families (3,024 individuals), had 47 salvations, 3 baptisms, 1,143 volunteer service shifts, 87 volunteers, gave away 200,000 pounds of food, and served 5 families in our city through Safe Families.  Radical Heart has been busy in our modified distribution and needs volunteers.  There are opportunities to serve from home or in person.  You can get involved in Safe Families by becoming a host home, a family partner, or donating to the Safe Family's closet.  Follow the links below under Volunteer Opportunities to let us know you are ready to help.
