Pregnancy Care Center
Hermitage Hills Baptist Church will host a meal for families that are attending birthing classes through the Pregnancy Care Center on Tuesday, April 25th. This is an awesome way to connect with our community and love on families as they anticipate the arrival of their baby. If you are interested in helping, please email Brigitte at bsimpson@hermitagehills.com.
Walk for Life is Saturday, April 29th. Registration opens at 8:45, walk at your convenience between 9:00am-12:00pm at Charlie Daniels Park, Mt. Juliet, TN. Registration and Walk starting point at Pavilion #3. Register as an individual, or form a team, online at www.PregnancyCareCenterTN.com/WalkForLife. Day of on-site registration also available.
The Pregnancy Care Center's mission is to empower individuals to make life-affirming decisions through education, counseling, and compassionate care, based on the ministry of Jesus Christ. They walk alongside individuals and offer support, love, and encouragement.
In 2021-22, we partnered with the Pregnancy Care Center through monthly support and by participating in the Baby Bottle Challenge. In June, we were able to send $2,839.00 to the PCC from the Baby Bottle Challenge. Hermitage Hills Baptist also provided a space for the PCC's birthing classes during the month of June. It was a joy to host five families as they prepare to meet their baby. They had dinner provided each class, received information about Hermitage Hills Baptist, baby items from Radical Heart, and a children's book about the JOY of Christmas. When you give to the One Fund, it allows our church to love our community well!
This year, we will continue to partner with the Pregnancy Care Center through monthly support. We will also participate in the Baby Bottle Challenge in May and June. To participate, pick up a bottle on Mother's Day 2023, fill it will coins or dollar bills, and return it on Father's Day 2023.
