Pregnancy Care Center
Hermitage Hills Baptist Church is currently participating in the Baby Bottle Challenge for the Pregnancy Care Center. This is a fundraiser for the center where baby bottles are filled with loose change, dollar bills or checks (made out to the Pregnancy Care Center). You can pick up a baby bottle at the Mission's Wall beginning Sunday, May 14th. We will fill and collect bottles through Sunday, June 18th. We look forward to reporting how much our change raised for the Pregnancy Care Center!
The Pregnancy Care Center's mission is to empower individuals to make life-affirming decisions through education, counseling, and compassionate care, based on the ministry of Jesus Christ. They walk alongside individuals and offer support, love, and encouragement.
In 2021-22, we partnered with the Pregnancy Care Center through monthly support and by participating in the Baby Bottle Challenge. In June, we were able to send $2,839.00 to the PCC from the Baby Bottle Challenge. Hermitage Hills Baptist also provided a space for the PCC's birthing classes during the month of June. It was a joy to host five families as they prepare to meet their baby. They had dinner provided each class, received information about Hermitage Hills Baptist, baby items from Radical Heart, and a children's book about the JOY of Christmas. When you give to the One Fund, it allows our church to love our community well!
This year, we will continue to partner with the Pregnancy Care Center through monthly support. We will also participate in the Baby Bottle Challenge in May and June. To participate, pick up a bottle on Mother's Day 2023, fill it will coins or dollar bills, and return it on Father's Day 2023.
