F.A.I.T.H. Riders have been at Hermitage Hills for 11 years. We are a motorcycle ministry passionate about sharing Christ with the lost, whether they ride a bike or not.
Our chapter here at Hermitage Hills also directs and leads a mission trip to the Townsend TN area each September called The Light in the Smokies. You don't have to be a biker to go - we need people with cars and trucks too.
This year, we were joined by several chapters throughout the state in sharing the love of Jesus to bikers and the local community. We handed out water/Gatorade, saw beautiful scenery (most got wet), heard awesome preaching and worship, attended an 11 year old boy’s birthday party, repaired bikes while witnessing souls being repaired, delivered snacks/toiletries to those needing help, comforted a man who had just lost his mother, had great food and fellowship, blessed a lot of bikes, laughed with many, cried with some, prayed for all, filled many gas tanks, made new friends and reconnected with some old ones, led one to the Lord!, got to see the hands and feet of God at work, and rode in HIS light and reflected HIS light in the Smokies.
We participated in a Prayer Rumble across the state of Tennessee. We rode and stopped at churches along the way to pray for the staff, for the community, for the Gospel to be shared, and for people to experience Jesus.
We also partner with the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home. We go in the fall each year and spend the afternoon with the kids. We give them rides on our motorcycles through their campus in Brentwood, engage in conversations and show our support for the staff. When you give to Month of Missions, a portion of your gift goes to help continue the work at the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home.
