In 2020-21, we were limited on going with our students but still found a way to be part of missions. In March, we packed 18 pallets full of boxes of food for Feed the Children. The experience helped to bring awareness of the needs of our community and world. The students enjoyed being able to make a positive impact in a hands-on environment. In June, the students helped with Backyard Kid's Club. In September, the students came together to encourage teachers at our School Partnerships with cards and care bags. In November, the students packed boxes for Operation Christmas Child, packed holiday food boxes for Radical Heart, and prepared for Month of Missions. We are so glad that our students are stepping into missions and sharing the love of Christ with those around them!
We are continuing to look for opportunities for a student trip, but we will certainly have to take COVID into consideration as we plan. Our desire is to keep our students engaged in missions, it may be smaller groups, closer to home, and shorter trips, but it will still be a meaningful experience that deepens their relationship with Christ.
