6th - 8th Grade
Ever been in a subway or train station during rush hour? The craziness probably best describes how middle school students often feel, even when they’re alone! It can be a confusing and exciting time!
Our Sunday morning LIFEgroups are set up to encourage students through teaching and interaction with a small group of peers. This environment helps students explore their relationship with Jesus and how that can influence every decision they make!
As we seek to love our neighbor and community by following recommendations by the CDC, our Middle School students can experience the following gatherings through technology each week:
- Student LIFEGroups:
Sunday LIFEGroups meet at 2:00pm for a Large Group gathering before transitioning to their LIFEGroups at 2:15pm. These groups will be utilizing Zoom so that students and LIFEGroup leaders can see and hear one another so we can bridge the gap between social distancing and isolation.
Students will also be using this 3 week devotional from Richard Koch starting March 29 as part of their LIFEGroup experience. Students can download it HERE.
- Student Hangout:
On Tuesday afternoons at 4:00pm, students are encouraged to gather on a Zoom call for a time of games and different elements simply for the purpose of hangin out with one another.
- Student Midweek Message:
On Thursday afternoons at 4:00pm, Michael will provide a 20-minute message that will be broadcast via our student social media accounts on Instagram Live and YouTube Live.
Please email the Minister to Students, Michael Jenkins (firstname.lastname@example.org) for meeting IDs and passwords so that students can be part of these experiences.
